Bali-Java (Mount Bromo & Mount Ijen Plateau) and Bali (Pemuteran)

• Travel across Bali to the island of Java and experience the hidden secrets of both islands. 
• Watch the sunrise over two of java's famous and most active volcanoes. 
• Visit the amazing Ijen Plateau and meet the local people. 
• Discover the underwater wonderland of Pemuteran and Deer Island (Menjangan Island). 
• Relax on quiet, sun-soaked beaches.

Itinery

• Off to Java!:
  You will be picked up from your hotel at 8AM for a drive across Bali's to the port of Gillimanuk on the West coast.  From there we will ferry across to Ketapang in East Java.

• Ketapang:
  We head off north-west for a 5 hour tour, via Probolinggo and through to Mt Bromo.

• Probolinggo:
  From Probolinggo, we head off to Mt Bromo, where we stay for the night.

• Mount Bromo:
  We catch an early-morning sunrise over the volcanoes (we swap to special 4WD vehicles for this).  We then ride on horseback to see the smoking lava of Bromo from the volcanic rim!  After this, we head off to the Ijen Plateau (Banyuwangi).  It takes about 5 hours, so we arrive at Ijen in the afternoon.  Stay at Ketapang near the East Java harbour at inexpensive, clean hotel.

• The Ijen Plateau:
  In the morning, we drive to the Ijen Crater parking area.  We then go on a walking tour, meeting the locals as they extract sulphur from the mountain. 

• Back to Bali:
  We return to Bali, arriving at Gilimanuk and drive a short distance north to the beaches of Pemuteran on the North-Western tip of Bali.  We stay here for the third night.

• The beaches of Pemuteran:
  You can choose to enjoy the quiet beaches of Pemuteran or head off to the island of Menjangan to dive / snorkel in its crystal clear waters and revel in the experience of so many tropical fish!

• Back to your hotel:
  We head off around 4:30PM for the return trip to your hotel.
